It also gets infinitly harder when youre either inside a building backed up into walls, or - while trying to defend your farm. This might work fine for one bot or two roaming around, however after some testing it turns it works rather poorly on 3+ bots, especially while playing multiplayer as someone other than the host (because of ping). EDIT since some users keep bringing it up: Sure, you can backpedal while swinging and the bots will rarely hit you. It might be a bit better later on, but considering how much time you spend with just the hammer especially at the start, fights can turn south a bit too quick, especially without friends. 4 hits kill you, so fighting more than one Farmbot alone can quickly become a death sentence. Considering you cant block their attacks, you are bound to be hit by them. The time it takes to kill the enemies is fine, but the damage done by the yellow ones feels a bit too high.

Maybe inside the smaller craftbot thats inside the wreckage, and that one could be made in your inventory (like Minecraft has a 2x2 crafting grid where you make the workbench for the 3x3 grid)įarmbots seem a bit too strong We havent focused on getting the Spudgun yet, so all we had to fight for our time ingame was the hammer. New players will have no idea they need to go there to make the craftbot, so a way to make it outside of the stations could help a ton. A simple way to place waypoints or beacons (like in Subnautica for example) could go a long way to help people find their way backĪ way to craft without the craftbot If one of my friends wouldnt have known about the red service station to craft the craftbot there, we probably wouldve been without proper crafting for a much, much longer time (we ran into pretty much the opposite direction at first). Waypoints/Beacons/A map Currently finding your way around in a pseudo randomly generated Map (Buildings and roads seem to spawn the same, while Terrain is random) is very hard, even more so since theres a lack of biomes. This isnt a list of things "you have to do in order for this to be good", just a few ideas we came up with to improve different aspects of the game. However, there were a few small things that my two friends and I noticed after playing through pretty much the entire night yesterday.
